What do they sound like?

It's one thing to see a card with vertical lines and notes, but what does it sound like?

Do you know what an affordance is? It's the quality or property of an object that defines its possible uses or makes clear how it can or should be used. For example, the handle on a mug makes it clear how it a mug should be picked up. Even if you had never seen a box before, it's shape makes it look like it could be used as a container.

One of the problems I've had explaining the cards to people is they don't look like what they do. If you didn't know in advance something about music or the piano, their use isn't clear. There's not an obvious affordance.

To fix that, I created a series of very short videos which introduce you to the sounds of the chords. The videos below are for the latest set. They are all 1 minute or less but will give you an idea of how the cards work in real life.

You will notice that in the whole notes for the chords, there are numbers. These are the scale degrees of the notes in the chords, as related major scale of the root of the chord. The scale degrees are explained in the videos at the bottom- I couldn't decide what order to put them in.
