Sliding scales

My students are way smarter than I am. They make great observations and have brilliant ideas. One of them is when we use the key name card on the piano, if we use a scale or chord card, it hides the names of the notes. A student told me that I should make the chord cards see through to make it possible to see the letters at the same time.

The video below is my solution. I haven't decided if I'm going to redesign the cards to make cutting them more efficient, your thoughts would be appreciated.

I have been experimenting with making sliding scales with the full octave cards, as well as sliding chords with cadence cards. It's really cool how it works.

Happy Playing!
