2025 Jingle Bells Advent Kickoff

It's October 2025 and I've been working on an Advent, or Christmas project for the last several months.

Today I am sharing with you the first part of the project which includes the documentation, the music, a series of videos to go along with this. You can get a taste of what this project encompasses from this first week.

The rest of the videos and music for weeks two, three, and four will be posted by the beginning of November.

I strongly suggest taking the pre-advent assessment prior to starting the program. You may be curious about where you started and where you finish. Or, where your students start and where they finish. At the end, take the assessment and see where you are.

In my studio I've seen a general leveling up of everybody. Some of my students may not be familiar with the terminology, but the majority of them are competent and capable with the playing.

Students who make it through the entire four weeks of the Jingle Bells Advent project can play Jingle Bells very well. And, they are much better with all of their chords.
